Welcome to the web pages of Jack and Jill Windmills Society.

Our Society, a registered Charity, has fully restored and now maintains Jill Windmill - a 19th century corn windmill located at Clayton, West Sussex in the United Kingdom.

The vast majority of the restoration of Jill Windmill has been carried out by Society Volunteers, who have met at the Mill on virtually every Saturday since January 1979.

		Oldland Windmill is an 18th century post-mill situated in the village of Keymer in the County of West Sussex. She is currently being restored to full working order by a dedicated team of local volunteers. Click here to visit the web site

Sussex Mills Group

Sussex Mills Group promotes the study and the restoration of mills and associated artifacts within the counties of East and West Sussex in the United Kingdom.

Many of our Members are actively involved in the restoration and maintenance of Sussex mills. We also organise occasional working parties, when Members get together for specific projects, such as clearing out a mill pond, painting weatherboarding, assisting with the fitting or removal of a windmill's sweeps, or just tidying up in advance of an open day. Details of these working parties will appear on our Events page.
